I am trying to build my own space chair. There for I need some plain cotton canvas. can anyone tell me where i can get the pattern and the canvas as well as a place that can sew the material in the greater manchester area (ideally near Bury/Bolton). If anyone has instructions or information on the whole construction i would be greatful.

I am trying to think of more ideas for my BFF's baby shower on Saturday. It is my godson so I am going a little over the top. So far I have planned: alternating blue and white table covers with baby bottles filled with blue and white candies that hold balloons with these little rattles I got propped against it (babies that are about 3 inches tall) and table confetti that says it's a boy. I also got a banner that says Jenn & Glenn are Having a Boy, Congratulations on you Bundle of Joy. For their table I got a larger rattle (same concept) as well as a baby balloon (to add in with the other balloons) and diaper cake. Above the chairs they will sit while opening gifts I have an umbrella I use cotton balls on the inside to make it look like clouds hanging down over her head? I am also planning on putting a clothes line across a whole wall to add clothes to when she is opening gifts, that way people can see them clearly. Anybody got anymore cute, cheaper ideas? Do you think this is enough. I will have spent on decor, invites, and gifts about $400, is that enough for your god baby? I know I will spoil him rotten once he is actually here but I want her to have a really special day. No games though please, we are not game at the shower people. I never ran, it was unprofessional and un-ladylike. I sat in my office chair and looked at my schedule on my Blackberry. "MARY!!!", I shout into the PDA system. My secratary/personal assistant ran into the room 5 minutes later, hands filled with files and a steaming cup of coffee. "Yes, Ms. Delman?", she says, placing the cup on my desk. Oh and schedule an appointment for me with Lucy.", I say looking at my bare nails in disdain, hoping Lucy (my stylist) will be able to fix them. Mary and the teen go, leaving me alone in my office. A lividly angry face stared back at me. She had smokey-grey eyes just like me, plain brown hair just like me...she looked just like me yet I didn't recognize the angry face. It went well with the satin trench coat I had just grabbed and black Jimmy Choo ballet slippers. It also brought out my eyes, which was good, considering its my only feature. I went into my bathroom and put on some lip gloss and blush. Considering myself looking decent, I went out into my office grabbed my Gucci 'Hysteria' tote bag, a gift from Vera Wang. im through with trying to do all this other stuff just to get my writing criticized, please read this small sample and give me feedback to whether or not its even that good. also any help or tips to help improve my writing is greatly appreciated :) I remember once when life wasnt so bad, when my destiny was mine for the choosing, why couldn't i have been stronger. It was early morn when i had awoken, i could hear my father outside yelling up to me telling me to help him outside with the crops. The sun was right above the plains, its light flowing in through my windowsill to carefully reveal my less than appealing room which was covered in dust from countertop to ceiling. My clothes hanging from the dresser to display my knitted cotton shirt and ragged trousers which i would most likely be wearing once again since the village had a limited supply of water from the well for washing. I rose from my bed, planting my feet onto the floor to rise and stretch the weariness from my body. My dull wood floor creaked and crackled as i walked across my room, stepping over the clutter and stacks of study books that had been provided to me for learning more common things such as agriculture and woodworking. I opened my door to peek my head out into the hallways to listen if anyone else was already up but i didnt hear a sound, just the hollowness of solitude. I walked down the hall leading to the short flight of stairs where i went down into the kitchen where sat in the middle of the room the family table complete with 4 worn chairs, one for me, my mum, my father, and my sister Patt who has been causing quite the bit of trouble with the parents for feeding the stray cat outside scraps which they insist on not doing because it would never leave afterwards. The clay fruit bowl lay over on the edge of the counter next to the back door where i noticed that most of the fruit was beginning to decay from age and pestering flies. I moved the upper layer of red apples and oranges to find an apple that atleast looked somewhat appealing and moved out my arm to pull out a chair from the table where i sat to enjoy my first meal of the day.

♥ ♥ Twenty yards from the water’s edge washed with age, deluges of past rains boards missing, neglected – the hedge grown higher than the windows on this shack home to unwed insects and their tribes sitting on a bench, mahogany a reddish black hues of years bygone, untended yawned a scraggly mangy cat, one eye matted patches bare of fur unkempt he faces dawn an austere branch remnants of rope, where once belonged a child free, dreams of what would never be... black the plague that took them all winters end was loitering no one came to call, in the breeze a hinge unoiled squawks threads of cotton hanging low in the windows, gently blowing nothing breathes for miles around nothing much alive I found myself entranced with fear drawing near, my breath drawn cold but boldly stepped upon the porch avoiding rotten boards feeling my way intrepidly, I enter the cobwebbed space followed by the sickly cat what drew me in... what beckoned me I saw it in the window a rocking chair was rocking still down my spine ran a thrill .... I opened up the dirty window and there before my eyes I saw a whirly windy spire in the dust arise spinning in a clockwise motion out the window slipped across the great expanse it ran swirling up the dust I swear on oath ... talking to my parents, is always a chore, and is ALWAYS awkward - even if it's normal talk... just saying hi. my mother always has "advice" and never actually talks to me. then usually continues on to show me an exercise so i can be less "fat". and then continues to talk about successful stories about some people my age, and how well they're doing at home and at school. - they're constantly putting me down, and no matter what I do, they constantly disagree with what I do, and they make really big deals out of the little things...well actually, everything (I'm not exaggerating) - they never listen to me, (I tend to have to repeat things over and over...and over again) and I THINK they've listened, but it all goes down the drain until they ask me AGAIN - anytime we have a "talk" and i get frustrated or annoyed or angry, my normal reaction tends to be to raise my voice, then we go off topic: lower your voice, don't yell, respect us, and then a lecture concerning me not yelling or raising my voice - disagreements: anytime there's a misunderstanding or a disagreement, it ALWAYS goes back and forth...and back...and forth...and back...and forth...until I have to tell my mom, well okay, you say one thing and I'll say another, and we're getting NOWHERE. how about we just stop it at this, CLEARLY there's been a misunderstanding and end this peacefully. (and even then, it doesn't always work and the back and forth continues, until i just leave the room) - even if I have proof I am right, I am ALWAYS wrong. today: so I haven't cleaned up my room for a while, it's not even that messy, a clean pile of clothes here, a pile of old newspapers there, once worn sweaters/cardigans hanging on a doorknob, folded clothes piled on a chair, a stack of magazines on a side table. and a garbage bag on the floor whose contents are cotton pads, qtips, makeup remover clothes. essentially "clean" garbage. (i haven't really had much time to clean up, I'm taking summer school so I'm gone most of the day 5 days a week) my mother went into my room, went through ALL of my stuff, and I mean literally, even my garbage. a few minutes later. she says she wants to talk to me.... but she has some errands to run and wants to talk to me tonight... I have NOTHING to say to her. I don't want to talk to her, but if I say I don't want to talk to her, more hell will be set loose.... I'm just frustrated and annoyed.... any ideas to get her to finally listen to me? and that going through my garbage is completely uncalled for and creepy? I'm 21, twenty freaking one. and i feel like she doesn't understand that I'm not 15 anymore... that I can make my own decisions that any mistakes I make, I should learn them on my own...
