Some ideas please! My grandson wants to decorate our front porch for Halloween this year.?
I haven't done anything like this in almost 20 years. Can you give me some ideas? We have a wicker porch set, with a couple of chairs and a table, and a hanging porch swing. I don't have ANY decorations - gave them away years ago when my kids grew up, so I'll have to start from scratch. I don't want to spend too much money - maybe $100 or less. What can we do, and where should I shop? What could we do on our own? When my kids were little we stuffed some clothes and put a shrunken head on top, and stuff like that, but my imagination is not like it used to be. I'm sure there are some things we could do with old clothes, or material, etc. that wouldn't cost anything. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Hanging A Hammock Chair In A Dorm Room
I have a small single point suspension hammock chair. Right now it is hanging from the ceiling on my back porch. I would love to be able to bring this chair to school and have it in my dorm but stands are almost 200 dollars and that is not what i really want to spend my money on. I'm not allowed to damage my room in any way so i was wondering if anybody has solutions or suggestions for ways i can hang this chair up without a stand?
The only thing that I can think of is hanging it somehow on a bunk if you have one. Or maybe if there is some sort of pole or sturdy ... See More
How can we stop our cat from constantly marking his territory inside the house?
He sprays on bags left near ground level, furniture, the floor (we have polished boards), washing and ironing hanging on the back of chairs, in doorways, on coat stand, even on me! We have tried shouting, “time out”, giving more attention generally (not at time of offending behaviour), medication (Endep), pheromone sprays, ammonia, citronella, but nothing seems to be discouraging him. He has two litter boxes which are cleaned regularly and a cat flap to the garden open all day! He is a large and otherwise healthy 4-and-a-half year old neutered male “moggie”, who lives an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, is generally affectionate, very compliant with medication etc. We also have a 3 year old neutered female cat who is perfectly behaved (they get on quite well together). He has been an “inappropriate urinator” from time-to-time over the past 4 years, but the territorial marking just seems to have got far worse over the past month. We’re at our wits’ end! Any suggestions?

The increase in marking was probably caused by another cat moving into "his" territory, or some other change in your neighborhood or ... See More

What are these hanging mechanisms called, where do I get them, and what is an average price?
My fiancee and I own four guitars [2 electric, 2 accoustic] and a mandolin. We recently placed a dining room table in the room in which they have been stored on metal collapsing stands, and we wish to add 2-4 chairs for the table, but even with the table alone, a lot of free space has been lost. My main concern is the risk of the chair meeting one of these instruments, and I do not want to have a chance at that sort of damage, so I would like to see about mounting our instruments to the wall. A friend of ours owned 7 guitars, and he had installed a few claw-like hangers into his wall. These were made specifically for the hanging storage of string instruments. To hang up the instrument, our friend would place the very top of the guitar necks between two claw-like clasps, which closed around the necks of the guitars directly under the heads, or tops of the guitars, where the tuning knobs are located. He would then release the instrument, and from their they hung securely with the support of these claw things. To remove the instruments from the apparatuses, he would simply lift and gently pull the guitars back down. These didn't seem to be screwed or bolted into the wall, it seemed to have a suction function to them, because when he moved away, he took them with him and the only mark on the walls were white spaces where dust/grime/smoke could not intrude on the spots he mounted these things upon. Where would I go in search of these things? I don't even know what to call them, or how much money I would need to spend on five of them? Would they be more readily available in a hardware store or a music shop?
I googled "guitar hanger" and found a bunch of them listed from $4 - $30. They all require mounting into the wall, either into a stud or ... See More
Baby Shower Decorations Ideas?
I am trying to think of more ideas for my BFF's baby shower on Saturday. It is my godson so I am going a little over the top. So far I have planned: alternating blue and white table covers with baby bottles filled with blue and white candies that hold balloons with these little rattles I got propped against it (babies that are about 3 inches tall) and table confetti that says it's a boy. I also got a banner that says Jenn & Glenn are Having a Boy, Congratulations on you Bundle of Joy. For their table I got a larger rattle (same concept) as well as a baby balloon (to add in with the other balloons) and diaper cake. Above the chairs they will sit while opening gifts I have an umbrella I use cotton balls on the inside to make it look like clouds hanging down over her head? I am also planning on putting a clothes line across a whole wall to add clothes to when she is opening gifts, that way people can see them clearly. Anybody got anymore cute, cheaper ideas? Do you think this is enough. I will have spent on decor, invites, and gifts about $400, is that enough for your god baby? I know I will spoil him rotten once he is actually here but I want her to have a really special day. No games though please, we are not game at the shower people. Below is stuff I already have, thank you all so much!! http://www.babyshowerstuff.com/horboy.html http://www.babyshowerstuff.com/babfacshap23.html http://www.babyshowerstuff.com/bbaneorboba.html http://www.babyshowerstuff.com/baitbocbashb.html http://www.babyshowerstuff.com/boycinvite.html
